Player Care, Tailored to the Individual

Calm, confidential support that adapts to each player’s needs, circumstances, and stage of career. Because no two journeys are the same.

How Player Care Works

Sports environments come with unique pressures. Contract uncertainty, selection and deselection, injury, public scrutiny, and the expectation to cope quietly can all impact a player’s wellbeing. Player care offers space to acknowledge these realities and work through them with clarity and perspective. Support begins with a conversation. From there, we take time to understand what feels most important and what support would be genuinely helpful.

Player care is not a one size fits all service. Every player’s situation is different, shaped by their career stage, personal circumstances, and the pressures they are navigating at the time. The focus is always on the person, not a process or programme. Sometimes that means a single conversation. Sometimes it means ongoing support over a longer period.

It Starts with a Conversation

A woman with blonde hair in a black turtleneck sitting at a wooden table, writing on a piece of paper with a pen, and a man with light hair in a light-colored shirt sitting across from her, with a framed picture of orangutans on the wall behind them.

The first conversation is informal and led by the individual. There is no expectation to share anything before you are ready. It is simply an opportunity to talk, ask questions, and decide whether this support feels right.

All conversations are treated as confidential. Information is not shared with clubs, agents, or family members without consent, unless there is a safeguarding concern that requires action.
